ἱστορίαι Historiai
Hdt. 6.114 The Histories, Herodotus; served verbatim
In this labor Callimachus the polemarch was slain, a brave man, and of the generals Stesilaus son of Thrasylaus died. Cynegirus son of Euphorion fell there, his hand cut off with an ax as he grabbed a ship's figurehead. Many other famous Athenians also fell there.

The Greek stands ready in the workroom; the English is served. Both faces will read together.
