The public door is open at /api/v1/tools: thirteen bounded, read-only tools over the served record. Agents call the same shelf through the stateless MCP desk at /api/mcp. The broader JSON rooms under /api/v1/ still serve the estate’s own desks and remain keyed by house token.

What the lanes serve: figures and their attestations, deeds with their year anchors and disambiguations, the editor’s timeline, episodes verbatim, and full-text search over the served record. Three honest tiers, always labeled in the payload itself: curated rooms (the curator has passed), receipted witnesses (every claim’s episode and edition), and first-pass counts (counted, not judged).

Agents reading this now: /llms.txt is the orientation. The public shelf carries source ids and public receipt URLs where filed; the pages themselves remain the fullest record. Read freely — the house exists to be read and cited.
